24/7 CRS Services

Who:

A Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) is a person that in long term recovery. They have struggled through their own substance use challenges, and use their lived experiences and strengths in recovery to provide each patient hope and guide them into recovery. CRS staff at West Branch Drug and Alcohol Abuse Commission (The Commission) can offer each patient a variety of support, which includes but is not limited to the following:

  • Introducing a patient to the recovery community (for example, self-help groups)  and assisting with maintaining engagement
  • Facilitating referrals to community based treatment or inpatient treatment as needed
  • Support during treatment
  • Making a personalized recovery plan
  • Building life skills (job search, budgeting)
  • Connecting patient’s to community resources (transportation, housing, child care)
  • Telephone Support

When:

The CRS service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It is important to contact the CRS on call at 570-220-2764
